Salon Services

Bath Service

Bath service includes shampoo, conditioner, blow dry, brush-out, nail trim, ear cleaning, and sanitary trim. Prices start at $20.00 based on size and breed.

Full Service

Full service grooming includes all items listed under bath service, in addition to haircut and anal gland expression (external). Please call for breed specific pricing.

Policies

The following policies have been created for the health, safety, and protection of our guests at Franklin Ranch Pet Hotel. A copy will be provided upon check-in; your signature acknowledges that you have read, understand, and agree to all policies.

For your convenience, Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital will be happy to assist you with any of the health requirements prior to your pet’s stay.

Vaccination Requirements

For the health and safety of all guests the following vaccinations are required at Franklin Ranch for both daycare and overnight stays prior to check- in.

Canines

Current vaccinations for DA2PP, Bordetella, and Rabies. Protected levels of vaccine titers are also acceptable.

Felines

Current vaccinations for FVRCP and Rabies. Protected levels of vaccine titers are also acceptable. Intact cats (not neutered or spayed) will be kept at the hospital.

Bordetella must be administered at least 4 days prior to guest check-in.

We cannot accept pets younger than 4 months old at the hotel.

General Health

All guests must be in good health with no known exposure to contagious or communicable illnesses within a 30-day period prior to check-in. Guests showing signs of gagging, sneezing, vomiting, coughing, or diarrhea will not be accepted.

In an effort to maintain flea control, each guest will receive an evaluation prior to check-in. If fleas are noted, your pet will be given a Comfortis® tablet, a once a month oral flea adulticide. A $16.50 charge for the Comfortis will be added to your invoice.

Franklin Ranch Pet Hotel reserves the right to refuse any guest, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to flea infestation, aggressive behavior, signs of untreated or existing contagious illness, or other poor health conditions, or lack of proof of required vaccinations.

Medications and Food

On-site hospital services allow us to provide both oral and injectable medications. They must be in their original containers, clearly labeled with directions for use, reason they are given, and any special procedures used to administer them.

Our hotel cuisine has been chosen by our on-site veterinarians. We provide Hills® brand Sensitive Stomach for all of our guests. We also have Hills Natures Best® kibble if our guests prefer an all-natural diet. If you choose to provide your own food, separate each serving size into individual baggies clearly marked with your pet’s name on it. Please provide enough for your pet’s entire stay as well as a few extra servings in the event of a delay in picking up your pet.

Items from Home

We provide clean comfortable bedding for each of our guests. You may bring a maximum of two toys clearly marked with your name and your pet’s name.  We are not responsible for items that are lost or destroyed. Carriers and leashes will be returned to you upon check-in.

Guest Check-In/Check-out

Guests are free to check in at any time during business hours. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m. on the scheduled day of departure so we may prepare for our next guest. Additional charges will apply for guests picked-up after 12:00 p.m.

During our holiday (peak) season, if your pet is picked up prior to the scheduled day of departure, you will be charged for the duration of your reservation.

Pets left at Franklin Ranch Pet Hotel for 14 days past the end of their scheduled stay, with no contact with the owner, will be considered to be abandoned, and will be treated in a manner consistent with our legal and ethical requirements for dealing with abandoned animals.

Hours, Holidays (peak)

Franklin Ranch accommodates guests 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Our business hours are:

We are closed to the public on all major holidays.

Our peak boarding season is considered to be one week before and one week after holidays listed above.

Emergency Services

Franklin Ranch has a full service pet hospital on-site. Our pet hospital provides the most advanced technology from digital x-ray and ultra-sound to surgery, as well as an in-house laboratory and full-service pharmacy.

In the event of an emergency or illness, our veterinarians will be happy to assist your pet. If you prefer, your primary veterinarian will be contacted upon request, however, the transportation of your pet is your responsibility.
