We are pleased to introduce our new dog trainer, Miranda Baker. Miranda has years of experience working with animals and is anxious to share her expertise and knowledge with you and your pet.
Miranda started working with animals at the age of seventeen and decided to become a veterinarian technician. As a veterinarian technician, she studied both dog training and behavior modification and found her true passion while developing a dog training program for the clinic where she worked. That experience inspired her to start her own training and pet sitting business here in Elk Grove. As her business grew, she was recruited by a large corporation to manage their dog training program. She welcomed this fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in an industry she was so passionate about. Miranda put her own business on hold and spent the next three years managing and educating other trainers across the Pacific Northwest. Since then she has expanded her management skills to include pet grooming, pet photography, and vaccination clinics.
Currently Miranda is writing a book on dog training and behavior modification. Her goal is to publish her book as well as a series of videos within the next couple of years. Miranda has decided to return to her love of dog training. She looks forward to sharing with you her wide range of knowledge and expertise in problem solving, leadership skills, and obedience training. Her program focuses on positive reinforcement and utilizing the most effective methods for your dog.
